IBA Hamburg GmbH is developing ten areas on behalf of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. Approximately 17,800 additional residential units are being built on around 440 hectares. The company is currently developing more than 40% of the city's housing construction potential.

In addition to a variety of housing options for all stages of life, this includes a good social infrastructure and mobility concepts for easy connectivity within and outside the neighbourhood. Job creation is a prerequisite for a vibrant neighbourhood. Restaurants, services, offices, kindergartens, care facilities, and craft and commercial businesses make an important contribution to revitalisation and strengthen the local economy. High-quality open spaces, suitable leisure facilities, and central meeting places turn public spaces into an ‘extended living room’ for residents.
